From Design…

Simona moved to Baltimore in 2006 for academic training in the arts and design field at The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She developed a strong passion for interdisciplinary work between her undergraduate design studies and her first professional work in hospitality interiors with major American hotel companies and local architecture projects. Searching for a greater impact and for sustainable practices led Simona to pursue graduate studies in community planning and ecological architecture at The University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Design fueling her passion for green communities and technical innovation.

For the last 11 years, Simona has worked as a museum exhibit designer and project manager on multiple nationwide projects developing educational and interactive experiences for the public. Also, since 2017 she has run a design and planning consultation practice called ColorAngle, Benefit LLC, which has done collaborative projects with the local small businesses. Simona has also been deeply involved in several large-scale local events as an active member of the Lithuanian-American community and has taken leadership roles in non-profit organizational and creative teams in the Baltimore-Washington metro area. She has been instrumental in fundraising efforts and cultural programming. Simona is also a longtime supporter and member of the Americans for The Arts and the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.

Simona is a Certified International Property Specialist focusing on the resort and second-home properties.

Simona is invaluable to her international clients when it comes to preparing their homes for the market, looking for their second home, or investment property overseas. She fluently speaks Lithuanian, English, Russian, and knows some Spanish. Simona's diverse background in design and planning naturally paved the way to a new career chapter in Real Estate. Embracing the latest technologies, she is known for her creative and innovative approach in helping her design and real estate clients imagine and transform their ordinary spaces into one-of-a-kind environments. Just like in the custom design process, she takes an individualized approach, knowing that each home has special aspects that will appeal to its ideal buyer. Simona knows how to optimize various marketing mediums to get her seller’s home sold. Uniquely qualified in federal contracting, site master planning, zoning, environmental land use, and project management, Simona can also effectively work with city planners, zoning agents, and other stakeholders. She is also familiar with the nuances of building codes and architectural standards.

 

Outside professional life…

Outside of her professional life, a self-declared foodie, Simona enjoys jewelry making, home décor, traveling, and reading self-development and empowerment books. A fan of jazz, Simona is currently learning to play jazz tunes on the ukulele.
